Samenvatting	The Asia specialist Jaroslav Poncar has travelled to Burma repeatedly over the last ten years and, with his panoramic camera, has portrayed not only the famous temples but also the everyday life of the inhabitants in the cities, in the countryside and on the coast. The unique landscape of the Southeast Asian country with thousands of pagodas is also shown to its best advantage in the wide panoramic photographs. The mother of our illustrated books has been the award-winning book New York Vertical for more than ten years, which made photography history and became an international bestseller. Not least of all, the unusual format of the XXL editions of half a meter, which was ideally adapted to the panoramic photographs, contributed to this success. Over the years, several illustrated books... This year we are expanding the range with three new titles and are finally reissuing the classic New York Vertical. Castillos by Helmut Hirler, Atacama by Karl Lang and Burma by Jaroslav Poncar are added as opulent illustrated books; all individually designed by our graphic designers, excellently printed under the supervision of the photographers and bound by hand in linen.
