Samenvatting	Michelangelo Pistoletto (*1933 in Biella) is one of the most important representatives of Arte Povera. The mirror paintings, which are inextricably linked to Pistoletto's name, quickly brought him international recognition. They combine his interest in conceptual and figurative representation. Pistoletto presents his subjects on the border of another sphere, and so his works come to life when the viewer stands in front of them and involuntarily becomes part of the works.
